Doubt
When you look at the word doubt we can all think of a time when we've doubted ourselves. Whether it was our solo in band or choir concert, whether it was on the SAT or ACT's, whether it was our ability to get a job out of college. We have all doubted ourselves at one time or another. I am here to tell you that I am not immune to doubt in my own abilities. As a kid, I dreamed of being a musician. I was so immersed in musical culture that I literally was listening to something from the moment I woke up to the moment I went to bed. I would burn through batteries in my walkman so fast that I ended up stealing them out of remotes so that I wouldn't have to stop. I wanted to be a musician with every fiber of my being. In high school I was in a band. We were pretty good by the standards of the day. Grunge/Alternative was our speciality. We had fans, mostly our friends and family, but fans none the less.
