Iā€™m from Iowa. I love it. Iā€™m not ashamed to admit it. Itā€™s where I grew up. Itā€™s where I call home and more than likely where my kids and their kids will live too. Itā€™s a great place to live, itā€™s a great place to raise a family, and itā€™s a great place to go exploring in the mountainsā€¦..(insert screeching car noise)ā€¦..what? Oh, waitā€¦..you think that just because we donā€™t have 14,000 ft peaks and thin air we donā€™t have mountains? Letā€™s give you a little insight into a race called the Booneville Backroads 100 Mile race, shall we? J Youā€™ll never hear me claim to be an expert at doing ā€œsmart thingsā€.
